Professional

• Lt. Colonel, USAF (Retired).  I served 23 years active duty in the Personnel career field (Morale, Welfare and Recreation) with tours in California, Alaska, Hawaii, Texas, Germany, and the Philippines.  My assignments involved extensive travels throughout Alaska, Asia and Europe.   

•  In 1996, I transitioned to new home sales with Chicago’s largest homebuilder, DRH Cambridge Homes.  Helping people meet their housing needs in a supportive and client centered environment came naturally to me, and I was fortunate to have averaged over $10 Million in sales volume annually in a 10-year period (over 470 homes sold).  Twice I was awarded Salesman of the Month and a member of the Sales Team of the Year by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Homebuilders Association of Greater Chicago (HBAGC).

• My wife, Lennie, is a secretary at the First Presbyterian Church of Libertyville
• All four children graduated from Libertyville High School.  Oldest son, Johnny, is an Air Force cardiologist currently serving in San Antonio; Jimmy has a PhD in Chemistry, doing a “post doc” at Stanford University in Palo Alto; Jeremy is an art teacher living in nearby Mundelein; and daughter Jenny, is an actress/model living in the Philippines.
